JourneyGo is a mobile app designed to take the stress out of spontaneous group getaways. The goal was to design a trip planning experience that feels light, intuitive, and even fun, helping users coordinate destinations, dates, and logistics without getting bogged down in endless back-and-forth.

Approach
Plan epic getaways with friends
I started by putting myself in the shoes of a user who just had the idea: “Let’s go somewhere this weekend!” From there, I mapped out the most essential pieces needed to make that spontaneous plan real destination, dates, budget, and people.

JourneyGo nails that rare balance of playful and practical. The planning flow feels like you're just chatting with friends, but behind the scenes it's handling all the complexity for you. Super polished work

The redesigned trip planning flow turned what could’ve been a chore into something users genuinely enjoyed. Testing showed that 80% of users completed the flow without needing help, and feedback highlighted how easy and “surprisingly fun” the coordination felt, especially when voting on ideas with friends
